Flexmount Oscillating Conveyors
Non-Isolated

Economical units for light to medium-capacity
conveying applications.

Flexmount oscillating conveyors provide an economical means of conveying a wide variety of granular,free-flowing materials, as well as odd-size materials such as metal scrap, with the assurance of years of dependable, trouble-free service.

Designed for light to medium capacity applications, these compact units are simple in construction, can be quickly and easily installed on concrete foundations or structures and require minimum maintenance. Capable of a material travel speed of 20 feet per minute, with 1/2-inch pan stroke, the Flexmount conveyor operates at speeds of 450 cpm when handling materials in chemical, food processing, forest products and metal cleaning industries.

Standard troughs for the Flexmount conveyor are 10 gauge mild steel construction and are also available in stainless steel for widths between 8 and 48 inches.

Troughs can also be made of special alloys with flanging qualities, or lined with a variety of liner materials when handling corrosive or abrasive materials. Troughs are available in dust-tight or weather-tight models and adapt easily to collect materials from several points or for distribution through multiple intermediate gates.

Flexmount Positive Drive

The Flexmount conveyor’s positive drive system has heavy-duty spherical roller bearings, a cast steel connecting arm and a rubber-bushed wrist pin assembly, which is securely locked to the conveyor pan with taper lock bushings. This drive system maintains positive action regardless of load conditions. It can be positioned at the conveyor feed end as an end drive or along the conveyor length as an intermediate drive. Motor and motor supports are independent of the conveyor base and are located on either side of the conveyor.

Single arm drives are used for 8 through 12-inch trough widths. Double arm drives are normally used on conveyors with 18-inch or wider troughs.
