Walk-Thru High Security  Model 7500 Metal Detector

The Model 7500 is a highsensitivity metal detector developed specifically for use in loss prevention. Where the detection of small pieces of metal is required such as gold, silver, & platinum jewelry, electronic components ie; SIMMs and other easy to hide metallic items. Depending on application, the maximum detector sensitivity can be as small as 1/8" cube. The antennas are shielded to minimize interference from surrounding metal and airborne electrical transmissions. Designed to detect both magnetic and non-magnetic metal, the Model 7500 is a preferred choice for loss prevention applications.

Under Belt Model "FlatPak" General Purpose Model 5700 Metal Detector

This unit is comprised of a single antenna for mounting underneath a conveyor belt.   The Model 5700 is best suited for applications requiring an clear space above the conveyor belt due to the odd shaped conveyed material or material of varying height.  Optimum detection depends on the metal lying on or in close to the belt.  Maximum detector capability is dependent on multiple factors and should be evaluated for each application.

Under Belt Model "FlatPak" High Sensitivity Model 9300 Metal Detector

Designed specifically for applications where the detection of small pieces of metal is required and the area above the belt must remain unobstructed.  The Model 9300 detects both magnetic and non-magnetic tramp metals and can be sized to suit almost any installation.

Long Object Model 6000 Metal Detector

Designed to prevent conveyor belt piercing by long rods (such as roof bolts) or jamming of the transfer point, the Model 6000 selectively detects long metal objects of a given diameter and length as well as normal tramp metals greater than the given rod diameter.  As with most Tectron units, the detector is also compatible with fabric or steel cord conveyor belts, and belts with metal splices.

The Discriminator Model 8050 Metal Detector

Has the unique ability to detect and discriminate between non-magnetic and magnetic tramp metals.  Typically, the Model 8050 is installed on a conveyor system in conjunction with a magnetic separator.  The detector can be set to detect all non-magnetic tramp metals and those pieces of magnetic tramp metal, which are too large for or missed by the magnet.

Whole log Model 9100 Metal Detector

The Model 9100 is designed for applications where large sensing apertures and high metal sensitivity are required.  It is particularly suited to scanning whole logs on conveyors or chutes.  Maximum detector sensitivity is generally 1.5% of the aperture height.  The Model 9100 has shielded receiver and transmitter antennae to minimize interference from surrounding metal and airborne electrical transmissions.

    (1)  A Shift Register tracks the location of numerous pieces of metal simultaneously for a glass recycling facility.
    (2)  Installation of a non-metallic conveyor section allows maximum sensitivity for produce packaging.
    (3)  In this wood chip plant, the Model 5500 protects a roll press, preventing costly repairs and downtime.
    (4)  Antennas installed vertically on a non-metallic trough section provide clearance for conveyed logs.
    (5)  Dual antenna system eliminates "orientation problem" typically associated with detecting nails and spikes.
