Company markets Deister vibrating equipment in all industries except aggregates.
Deister Machine
Company, Inc., conceived the policy of quality and performance in 1912 when the head
of the Deister family began building mining machinery and separating and sizing
equipment. Deister is a leader in the design and development of systems to increase
the efficiency and productivity
of the crushed stone, sand and gravel, coal, coke, slag and
ore processing industries. Its products are designed to integrate with all the
components of the production system and to perform longer with minimum downtime, giving
maximum productivity.
Deister Machine
is not affiliated with Deister Concentrator
Company, also located in Fort Wayne, Indiana,
although both companies had the same founder. Emil Deister was also a founder of
Deister Concentrator Company in 1906, which he sold to outside investors in 1912, when he
founded Deister Machine Company. The Deister family still owns and is active in the
management of Deister Machine Company.
